According to new policies released by Google, users of its popular and free blogging platform, Blogger are no longer allowed to post sexually explicit content on blogs hosted on the platform.
The new policies go live on March 23 and blogs containing sexually explicit content will be made private thereby restricting the blog from being viewed by the general public.
None of the blogs will be deleted, but they will no longer be publicly visible, the tech giant says.
People currently posting adult content are advised to either remove it or make their blogs private themselves.
Starting March 23, 2015, you won't be able to publicly share images and video that are sexually explicit or show graphic nudity on Blogger.Note: We’ll still allow nudity if the content offers a substantial public benefit, for example in artistic, educational, documentary, or scientific contexts.
