Have you ever experienced a situation where you a very steady internet connection but all your Google apps (PlayStore, Search, Inbox, Gmail and others) refuse to connect to the internet? Below are possible fixes you can try.
FIX 1: Clear The Cache
The simplest solution is to clear the cache of the particular Google app that isn't connecting. To do this, go to Settings >Apps >All>Google Playstore
Click on Force Stop and then click on Clear Cache
This should correct the error. Open the app and see If it has been corrected. If it hasn't, try the next method.
FIX 2: Check Your Date and Time Settings
Incorrect date and time settings may affect the connection. Check if it is incorrect and rectify that.
FIX 3. Editing The Hosts File
This requires your phone to be rooted.

Download a root explorer app such as ES File Explorer.
Navigate using the file explorer to: Device > etc > hosts
Open the file for editing using any text editor on your phone .
There may be an entry such as
Delete all entries with Google in it. Save the file. Re-open the malfunctioning app. By now, it should connect to the network.

This should only be used as a last resort. Before restoring, backup your applications and settings using Titanium backup Or any other backup app. Restoring will certainly work But shouldn't be used unless you've tried the other options.
